Precious Promises

We were given promises it says in 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. That is him saying we have a lot of promises. what would we do if we didn't have promises i think we would fall a lot. Don't you? i think my favorite promise is in Psalm 23: 1-6 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. ² He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. ³ He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. ⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. ⁵ Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. ⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. this passage is saying he will NEVER leave us and when we do go he will give us paradise! This will defiantly be my paradise. i will lay down in green pastures and i will be lead by the still waters. he has given you a choice. You can join me and relax in paradise or you can be eternally tormented in hell. My God will save you all you have to do is ask. Will I see you in paradise? The time is drawing near where he will call his church home. If it happened right now where would you be? I will be in paradise, will you join me?

Holding his Hand

You know if we truly sit and think about how God sent his only Son, we would understand that we take his mercy for granted. He gave us so much undeserved mercy. The bible says in Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. We are suppose to look to the east awaiting for his return. He promised that he would never leave u. In John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless : I will come to you. So you see he will comfort us and and never leave us it says in Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. So God left us a way to talk to him we just have to push our pride aside and talk to him. It would so us all some good to leave pride at home and go on with our day because Jesus wasn't prideful on the day he was going to the cross. We need to be like a little child. Jesus wants us to walk with him we just have to push pride aside and listen and talk to him, but don't forget to tell him you love him. When was the last time you just bowed before the master and said "I love you. Thank you for what you done for me"? Just like your mom or dad loves to hear it. He loves it more. Have you told him you love him. His hand is outstretched, will you take it?

Heaven is Wonderful!

The bible doesn't describe heaven alot, because God took all that time to tell us what hell would be like. He wanted us to know what we were choosing instead of heaven. He was warning us. It says in Revelation 22:1-5 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.so he is promising you comfort and eternal light! He tells in Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. He is telling us what is gonna happen. Heaven is gonna be so peaceful. The bible has described just how peaceful in Isaiah 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. I will be there, will i see you there?

Courage is Beautiful

God told us what to do in Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.  So see even God wants us to be courageous. He wants us to stand up for Him we need to honor God as he should be. The bible says in Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. So if we are strong then we will be as bold as a lion!  Dorothy Bernard said something that has stuck with me she said "Courage is fear that has said its prayers." We will have courage if we pray and God wants to talk to us. 

The Teacher

  Have you ever been going though something and wondered where God was? He was there with you standing by you. He said in Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. So see He is always with us He said in Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. God wants you to be brave and follow Him that is what He made you for. He may not talk to you all the time but He is there through what ever you are going through. I just wanted to say when I saw only one set of footprint I was thanking the lord for carrying me because I couldn't do it myself it was too hard but he helped me! So I want you to remember when you are going through something hard and wonder where God is remember the teacher is ALWAYS quiet during a test!

Life Guard

       Jesus is our life guard. He looks out for us when we need it and when we don't. He can see farther down the road than we can so we should just trust him! Jesus tells us this many times in the bible in Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  Also in 2 Corinthians 5:7  For we live by faith, not by sight. So he new we would try to walk by ourselves or he would not have put it in there. So he know what we are going through. Our life guard is always there stand next to he said in Psalm 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  So what do we really have to fear? Life is a beautiful thing If you don't live in fear all the time. I know its hard I deal with it to but he helps me! i hope he helps you. He would never put you in a situation that you couldn't handle. Just remember that when your drowning in life don't worry your life guard walks on water!
